Following on from Gary's suggestion about transparency on LJN, I have made a number of changes to your profile page.
You are now able to add a little more information about your business, including VAT registration, qualifications and skills, turnover, the county you operate in.
For new members joining up, these questions will be compulsory voluntary.
HTML control
Please bear in mind that you have full HTML control of the about section of your page.
Why is this important? The About page on any website is one of the most powerful on any website. The SEO benefits of what's written on here are potentially huge.
If you can do simple linking you may add photos of your projects, links to pages on your own website etc.
There is a very powerful advanced search whereby members can pull out lists depending on their needs. For example, if a member of the public or potential partner went to advanced search it's possible to suck out a list of businesses by the criteria that's set.

It is great that you are Phil, Open and happy to create changes.
I've also addedd VAT and company registration sections
This information could have been displayed anyway, not that anyone did.
I wonder what the unintended consequences of this will be?
Agreed.

Surveying people is always interesting but also intrusive.
Questions to ask
Are you going to be honest about your answers
Do you have a waste licence
A licence to kill all plants by spraying
A licence to chop down the tallest, grandest trees on the planet with a chainsaw
Do you actually like plants
What is your role, answer anything that needs to be done
OK will ask the questions & stick my head above the parapet !
Don't feel comfortable that people i.e potential new member's are being rail roaded into disclosing information , if this is the criteria for new member's to join do not feel it is what the spirit of LJN is about! How does a person who is just starting fit into all of this?
What is the agenda in asking the questions that are being asked?
Agreed Stephen.
I've removed the compulsory need to answer these questions:-))

There are many different ways a member may utilise LJN.
