Certificate for platforms

Today we had a meeting with a local council re: tender to reduce several miles of hedging to 2 metres from 3/4 metres. We have spent a considerable amount of time ensuring all policies, method statements, risk assessments, first aid chain saw certificates, insurances etc where in order.Policies and costings were deemed acceptable but because of the working height platforms are required. We were then asked for a platform certificate, have never heard of such a certificate and online search hasn't provided any useful information. Can anyone help please.

PASMA cert is required. Just google that and you will get all the info you need. Its a one day course, I did it two years ago.
  • Thanks Brian, have found the course (another £150 plus vat,is there no end to the red tape)and will try to book it for next week. How much paperwork can they demand just to prune hedging?
