Can you stripe with a 4 wheel mower.....?

Yes, here's what we have done (spin off thread from Etesia UK thread):

We have some 3rd party "bolt on" rollers for a couple of 4W Hayter 53 Pro's that we used to use. This is what we use:

http://www.amazon.com/Lawn-Stryper-LM408111B-Striping-Pattern/dp/B0...

- albeit an earlier version which doesn't have the green/black shroud over the roller.

They rely on attaching the handle uprights and have swivel joints to ensure roller follows contours etc and does not unbalance/load the mower.

They work great on large basic areas, but are a pain on smaller,  intricate areas.

We tried attaching to our Etesia's but can't find 'an engineering' solution due to the Etesia unique "central strut" handle. Love to solve that one...................Etesia ? ;-0)

We filled them up with kiln dried sand not wanting to put to much additional strain on mower/belt etc, but they say you can use lead shot for a heavier roller....

This is a picture of a site where we used them....

lol you go colin ive just had the pro46 i have stolen from work for a quick tidy up in my garden in the kitchen with the draft excluder of my door pondering just that

    race you ? lol

the roler looks like a possible solution but i would look to attach it to the grassbox via another bracket bolted onto it the only problem i would see immediatly would be the grassbox lifting up out of the channle but i think again some fine adjustment to the grassbox handle hook to tighten its hold would possibly do the job
