Bulb planter for an old git

Now retired and am trying to restore my garden after 40 plus years of neglect after looking after everybody elses!

So bought a load of bulbs and am regretting selling my petrol.post hole borer with augers which was used to plant bulbs on our sites. Have a manual long handled bulb planter but its bloody hard work working in rock hard soil that has not seen a fork or spade for years. So looked at the augers that fit in a cordless drill or the differing types of long handled planters - be grateful for recommendations on these or others.

I use of these probably based on advice seen on here - the short version.

Before buying, I was told if your buying one, get the medium as it will cover small and medium bulbs, if your needing a bigger hole then make another beside... rather than using a big one which is overkill for small bulbs

Buy Bulb planting auger - short: Delivery by Crocus
