Broken nipples: help required

Bit of a clickbait title but it got you here so....

Is there a easy way to detach the grease gun without breaking the nipple?

I've seen things like easy off coupler

Anyone know if these can be easily swapped to a cheap and cheerful grease gun eg other suppliers are available

I'm beginning to see why Stihl have changed their grease points.

  • Never had a problem.... just twist it at a slight angle and the gun just pulls straight off.

Maybe you need a decent gun, mine just pull right off I use a sealey gun and have never broken a nipple I use it with the rubber end.

You can put the G coupler on any grease gun. I have a cheap silverline and a g coupler (as I have a few awkward nipples to access) and it works fine. Wouldn't go back now.

    • thanks.  The coupler works really well on my grease gun.

      Problem solved!
