Broken fence posts

After last weeks storm I have been inundated with calls for broken fence posts.

ive always dug out the old post which is time consuming especially when you use to start lifting part of a patio and using concrete breakers.

has anyone muse these repair spurs where you drive the spike between the concrete and rotten posts in the ground then insert tour new post and in the bracket and tighten the bolts?

Do you mean the "post buddy" -  I've used them once, to be honest I wasnt that impressed with the quality of the repair when I did it - it just didnt seem to be that strong, but 18 months later its still in place and the fence is still ok.

We always use the 4 inch concrete spurs which are easy to fit and profitable with little disruption to the client.
