    Hi Oliver,

By chance i have just this week enquired about bradstone granite paving. My supplier said just lay as per normal on full mortar bed. No need for sbr slurry on the back. They just sell that as an extra but you don't need it according to him. Guy i dealt with has been in the trade a long long time and knows his stuff. Only thing i see is you need to be precise with the joint sizes as big joints will look naff. A colleague of mine used tile spacers and string lines to set the joint sizes and the results looked good. If you do go the slurry root then you need to do the edges as well as the back otherwise you get issues with picture framing  round the edges of the slab once its dry. I'd probably allow a little extra laying time too as the precise nature of laying will take a little longer in my view. hope that helps.
