None are "up to date" but cover essentials from different perspectives, without a "lets reinvent the wheel viewpoint". Collectively, they give a very sound knowledge base.

In terms of being modern / advanced, I find regular conversations with top notch suppliers are pretty fruitful, so annually go to Harrogate and NEC shows and see whats new / trends.
