i have a bg 86 , km bg and a battery bga 85 all do light work well the 85 is suprisingly powerful and more compact than km bg and quiter than 86 and easier to start
Thanks. The KM attachment seems pricey & not very manouverable. The BGA looks good but it's seriously expensive by the time you have a battery & charger
yes the battery and charger do add expense on first tool but the strimmer is also surprisingly powerful, quiet and easy to start and the chainsaw is good too, i will be trying a hedgecutter once my petrol one dies
I did read a few reports that the shaft bearings were failing.
Well it looks like I will buy the same again. The battery option is just too expensive, the KM too inflexible.
I hadn't but a on a quick look they seem to be the same price as Stihl.
I've always bought brand name blowers in the past, stihl, echo, kawasaki etc but this time round a bought a Cobra hand blower just for light spring / summer use for £99 and i'm surprised how powerful it is. I'm now on my 2nd season of use with no faults. I use my echo pb750 in the winter.
I looked at their battery blowers but not the petrol ones - I will have a look now :)
Your post made me look & I found a Mitox blower - never heard of them but good reviews

I have quite I bit of the ego kit, the blower I have works really well and get a good run time out of the battery! I can use the blower a good few days on one charge of the battery! And it's quiet.
So I bought another Stihl Petrol blower. I am keen on battery, use a battery mower & a hedge trimmer but the cost for a decent battery blower is crazy.
Plus every manufacturer has chosen a different type/voltage so you have to committ to one for all your gear, to make the costs worthwhile.
