BillyGoat QUIETVAC QV900HSP

Hi all

We've decided its time to invest in a leaf collector for all the hard grounds we maintain.
We're having a demo on the QV900HSP in a couple of weeks on the basis of keeping it after the demo, we've got to pay upfront but I've been assured we won't be disappointed.
We have a couple of schemes with underground car parks and this model with the correct accessories will double up as a pure vacuum cleaner and seperatly used as a leaf collector.

Has anyone already had any experience with any of the new 'Quietvacs' the QV range? The link below is for the above machine.

  • Hi everyone

A little update after our purchase of the QV550HSP Yesterday. Samll vids but I hope it helps. I didn't get any hose action vids as because I was on my own at that point but I will at some point and will upload some of the underground car-park action next week which will show how it works on dry unprotected concrete with the dust sock fitted.
I purchased a seperate turf bag in the thought that if the first one gets wet it wont work well in a totally dry condition.
I have to say, for total cost of £2700.00 for the QV550HSP, a hose kit and a seperate turf bag, I've got what I was hoping for....

  • Hi I've had an earlier version of this model for a few years. I had a lot of problems after a while with keeping it running. Eventually I put it in for repair, they changed the carb and it has been fine ever since. It doesn't cope with huge ammounts of leaves very well. We have a lot of trees and a lot of leaves. I use the garden tractor as often as I can to pick them up as they come down. If I have a big fall of leaves I do this by hand. Towards the end of the leaf falling season I use leaf collector and it picks everything up.
