Best course of action for a slightly lumpy lawn

I would like to ask a few opinions on this please.My client has a lawn which has a lot of small tufts of grass, relatively small lumps and bumps etc. There is one patch about 10m2 that has been chewed up by a delivery truck and I'll returf that, but in total the lawn is about 450m2. She basically wants a nice even lawn.I suspect topdressing, combined with a good scarify to reduce the thatch, would be the best way to go about this. I don't see any obvious signs of waterlogging but it has been quite dry lately (other than a random day yesterday).I have a feeling that given a feed, scarify, topdressing and a few cuts during growth with a roller mower it will look a lot better. Would that seem reasonable? She was under the impression she may end up returfing the whole lot but this is a heck of a job.
