Normal working for me. No way am I getting behind schedule in silly season.
Wednesday afternoon OFF, Thursday OFF, Work Friday, then a bit on Saturday to keep ticking over.
Gardens will be around forever, whereas as Friends and Family won't be.
They announced the 2 bank holidays in November 2020 so plenty of time to get organised in advance, though the wet weather Monday hasn't helped the situation.
Been rushing round making sure all my gardens are looking top notch for the bank holiday, as some customers have got friends over, etc. Am out selling at a jubilee car boot sale Thursday. Then probably gardening Friday/Saturday. Then another car boot or auto jumble on Sunday. Weather permitting. This is the time of year when even the most modest garden round becomes an insatiable monster, I am quite terrified of getting behind with it
We worked on Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday and moved some gardens ahead of schedule to get 5 days into three, had a bit of planning to get ahead so we can get the four day break....
Just focusing on the customers who care about their garden looking tidy for jubilee bank holiday ,some are an ongoing work in progress so there is Flexibility regarding frequency of visits , the work will still be there in a fornights time .
Intended to finish today but rained off for two days so will work bank holiday Thursday and Friday to stay in front .
Sat ,Sun and Monday is enough time off for me this time of year it's still a decent break from work I feel it's important to switch off from work .
We are most definitely off for these bank holidays after playing quite a bit of diary Jenga!
I finished wed lunchtime until Monday. Did get all my regular jobs in first though and worked last Saturday to make some time up. Need a small rest I think since lockdown I've become used to just working and not going away. But even if you don't want to have a break you have to every so often just to recharge.
I'm working as per normal , 25 lawns done today and 20 tomorrow, customers much appreciate them done for bank hol , I always have a joke with them and tell them I'm charging extra on bank Holidays and double if they want there lawns cut on a Friday so there Nice for the weekend.
I always try to fin early on a Friday and have stopped Saturdays now , unless weather ruins the week and I'm catching up!!!
