BALI membership fees rise by 5%

BALI is to raise its membership fees by 5% for 2014.

Whikst BALI chairman Chris Carr acknowledged that "our [members] costs will increase quite significantly in 2014" but "our customers will still expect us to deliver the same quality and service", BALI members voted [Saltex AGM September 2013] by 26 to 20 in favour of a 5% rise in membership fees for the 2013/14 year.

The increase is partly needed due to the appointment of a technical officer and two support staff.

Treasurer Martyn Mogford has stepped down from the BALI board after 5 years in the role.

Although the total membership number wasn't declared, BALI say that the membership "churn rate has reduced dramatically".
