  We have used sodium hypochlorite which seems to work a treat. Make sure you try it on a small area first and never use it on tamac.
  
  We use granular feeds, With a broadcast spreader on our large commercial grounds we could have the whole area treated in the same time it takes you to do a mix, and without the back or arm ache.
  
  Liquids we use on are small areas, and in fairness they are better than granulars, but on large areas where the less time you spend on the job the more jobs you can fit in granulars cant be beaten.

  It has nothing to do with should the operator apply granular feeds verses spraying etc. It is a personnal preference and what is best for the particular job / conditions etc.
  
  A lazty careless operator will make the same mistakes regarding of what method they used.

  lithofin Bero will work well costly though at £8.99 a ltr, but is worth the cost for what it does, never use a wire brush to get itt off will only make it rust worse!
