Don't find it a good idea messing up all your other customers schedules by shifting everything a day forward...... can cause more problems than it solves. I keep an eye on the weather forecast............... tomorrow, for example, is scheduled for heavy rain all day so I've contacted the customers and fitted some in today and will have a longish day Tuesday when I fit the rest in after my usual customers. If there's too much, I'll give them reduced time and tell them I'll give them some extra on the following visit.... hoping it doesn't rain then!
I gave up set days/times years ago. It solves all these problems in one go! I start Monday with a rough idea what I’m doing in the week and do as much as possible everyday.
This way I can do wet weather jobs when it’s wet and dry when it’s dry. As for tomorrow I’m staying home!
There is always tomorrow it’s just not worth getting worked up into a frenzy about it.
To add I’ve been out most of today and I’ve seen others out as well, it seems most will be taking tomorrow off
I worked in the rain last week on one customers lawn and as he also has the driceway done with the ride on I ran over the back lawns with it first to ease the cutting and then used my hand mower. Didn't think it looked that flash, to recieve a text from him saying the lawn looks great .
Although I'm part time I will have to mow Monday and Tuesday this week as going away for a week to Scotland then back to mow Thursday/Friday next week for all the other customers.
More doom and gloom...

Parts of the UK have been urged to prepare for an "unseasonably cold" and wet start to the week, with weather warnings in place that could mean disruption to the morning rush hour.
Yellow warnings for heavy rain and strong winds are in place for southern and eastern parts of England on Monday.
Some places could see more than a month's rainfall in one day.
The Environment agency said travel disruption during Monday's rush hour was expected.
A total of 31 flood alerts - meaning flooding is possible - have been issued across England.
Hopefully it’s not going to get to me (Leeds) but will have to wait and see, sometimes I don’t think the met people know what is happening
Looking like an ok day here tomorrow. I hope it stays that way, as I have some jobs from Friday to do still.
How annoyed am I!! I went back out until dark so done. 9 hour day due to weather saying gale force winds with heavy rain. It’s now changed to a bit windy with sunny intervals!!
In 15 years I've never had to miss a full week. There is always some jobs that can get done in even heavy rain so I juggle things about if necessary and for instance will do everything we can apart from the lawn and pop back to mow another day as overtime or if it's really rainy in the morning but due to brighten up then start late and finish late.
In the last 2 years I've dropped to a 4 day week for hands on gardening and one day for admin this makes it a rare occurance that I have to work in the rain now as I'll just move things about to suit the weather but before that we never lost many hours to rain.
I have regular weekly and fortnightly jobs booked for most of the week but I keep Mondays free for less regular jobs and catch-up work. This works well for me because on the face of it I appear to have only 4 days a week booked but in practice I find there is always plenty to do on a Monday and I would be struggling without this 'flexiday'.
