Autumn Budget - Does it affect you?

Just had the chance to review the Chancellor's Autumn Budget thanks to a supllied summary document. Have you seen the good news and bad news ?

1/ Scrapping of the need to display VED discs on all vehicles, but not the need to pay/have it :-(

2/ The fuel duty increase of 1.6ppl has been cancelled, therefore it has not increased in nearly 4.5 years - the longest period of stability in over 20 years meaning it has decreased by 14% in real terms this parliamentary session

Now the bad news ?

3/ From 2014 the BIK for real private use of a Van as an employee rises. Current BIK for van is £3000 pa (rules changed in 2005) and fuel BIK of £564pa. Next year it will be a Van BIK of £3090 and fuel BIK of £581 pa, meaning if both are taken then you pay £734 tax, an increase of £112 over this year.

4/ Possible Road Tolls have been dropped for the foreseeable future.
