Artificial grass

I would appreciate any comments regarding artificial lawns. What is the best product for a lawn (approx. 50 sq m) with very little foot traffic? Budget isn't too much of an issue as the client is willing to pay for the best but insists on artificial grass!Out of all the samples I have reviewed www.artificiallawn.co.uk had the best "feel" to them and of an acceptable quality.

  • Thanks for the tip off - will check them out.
  • I actually thing lazylawn are the best. They are very realistic and have tufted varieties that are great.Go for the supreme range. Just be aware that u do get moss etc still growing through artificial grass so u will need to treat it.Good luck
  • Hi,
I`ve used NOMOW before for a customers lawn and was very impressed with the outcome and overall appearence.
The type I used was the classic lawn, about £21 per M2.

    check out www.nomow.co.uk
  • Thanks Claudia,

    Have requested samples from them.

I guess moss treatment would be required and probably regular bushing and the odd hose down.
  • Just worried about your screen picture-do u bark!!

  • Many thanks for the tip off regarding lazylawn Claudia. Received samples today and by far the best yet.

NOMOW did send me some marketing material but no samples.

    Thanks for everyones help.
  • Thanks to Claudia, my cllient decided that Lazylawn "Supreme Emerald" was the best of the bunch. The area is only 55 sqm so will need to order 2 pieces of 4m x 6.9m and one on site join.

The cost for the "lawn" was £1300 plus all the extras.

Hopefully we will be clearing the area and applying a layer of sharp sand then the weed membrane next week. Once laid, I worked out that I would need to "brush in" kiln dry sand at 6kg’s per square meter.

Would appreciate any tips on laying the artificial grass. Anything to be watchful of?

    Many thanks in advance.
  • Do I get a fee!!
