Wondering if anyone out there has dealt with this outfit based in Lancashire? I have no reason to think they're anythng but bona fide but would like to hear of any experiences good or bad...

  • We used http://www.readyhedgeltd.com/ earlier this year and were most impressed with the service and product.  Rather than fencing, we bordered a car park with 100mtrs of Hawthorn, delivered well rooted in 1mtr troughs at 5no per trough, 1200mm high.  An instant hedge.

  • Thanks Colin,

It's hedhgesdirect I'm particularly interested in. A client of mine is putting a substantial order through them and I want to do my due diligence!

  • I recently used them for an order of bare root privet.

Order processed fine and they were delivered when they said they would be, but I was not impressed with the size of the plants that I received for the money I paid.

I would order from them again but would want to see photos of the plants I was actually ordering.

  • That's great, many thanks Nick, I appreciate you taking time to post.

  • Hi Dave,

Similar issue as Nick.  Some sizes ordered on website allegedly didn't exist; this was resolved with a phone call.  Plants turned up were healthy and on day specified but they were smaller than l was anticipating from what was advertised.
