Anvil / Deflector nozzle - Berthoud sprayer

I've recently bought the Berthoud Vermorel. I did a test run on concrete using the anvil nozzle (blue) and the spray appears quite stripey on the ground. There appears to be more liquid on each edge and up the middle, basically 3 thick lines (hope this makes sense).

It fills out after going over the area twice but obviously that's still an uneven spread. Is this normal? I'm holding the lance just below a foot off the ground to cover a meters width.

Can anyone advise? Or suggest a nozzle more suitable. I'm spraying iron and feed.

Thanks in advance.

Faulty or dirty nozzle?.... just change it

first step i would do is try another nozzle and if that works ok then you know its not clogged somewhere along the lines and it must either be the nozzle if faulty or needing a clean
