Probably not what you are after but it is always best to use the lowest vibrating tools possible to mittigate the risk from HAVS.
Useful info here: https://www.stihl.com/vibrations-english.aspx
Plus there is a very useful Excel spreadsheet which is downlaodable where you can put in your machines vibration values in and it calculates the time to reach the exposure action value as well as the tiome to reach the exposure limit value
Thanks for the Stihl link, I'm gradually moving onto the Ego cordless tools at the moment, I have the strimmer, hedge cutter and the long reach multi tool, but occasionally have to switch back to my Stihl petrol gear when the job requires it. My next purchace is going to be a Ego blower, just need to decide which one.
i use portwest anti vibration gloves from amazon, there about 12 quid. they have padding right down the fingers, but i woukd like to try some more expensive ones, but dont wantbto buy so.e that turn out to be crap!
Are the portwest gloves comfortable, they look a bit bulky. The same here I'm willing to pay for for a pair of anti vibration gloves that are up to the job and comfortable.
Yeah there fine, I wear them all the time, I don’t find them bulky to wear tbh
I'll give them a try, cheers
