About the Landscape Juice Network

Founded in 2008. The Landscape Juice Network (LJN) is the largest and fastest growing professional landscaping and horticultural association in the United Kingdom.

LJN's professional business forum is unrivalled and open to anyone within within the UK landscape industry

LJN's Business Objectives Group (BOG) is for any Pro serious about building their business.

For the researching visitor there's a wealth of landscaping ideas, garden design ideas, lawn advice tips and advice about garden maintenance.

I've been involved in photographing some amazing landscaping projects recently, this one is of Brailsford Barns, Derbyshire, but I wondered if landscapers using drones are aware of the restrictions of using one of these devices for commercial purposes? You must register as a commercial user through the CAA website and update your public liability insurance to avoid issues should the drone hit anything or anyone. It's also good practice to inform neighbouring properties what you are photographing - i've never had a complaint once everyone is in the loop. You must keep 50 metres from busy populated areas and avoid flying over roads etc unless permission is obtained. All this aside, i'd be interested to see any examples of drone imaging you may have taken yourselves to show your work.
