ano mower discussion, hopefully I can get some advice. We currently run 2 ride ons, 1 large and 1 small which is currently a castle garden and now has to be changes, it doesn’t do a great deal of work but has just become so unreliable recently, so I don’t know what to go for, my head tells me that the models with a Honda engine may be better but then I think I should go for a kubota g1600. Then following a discussion with the local kubota dealer, he has me convinced that it isn’t a great machine for contracting and that a g21 or 23 would be a better choice, obviously with a n increased price.
i guess the main question I’m asking is does anyone use the smaller kubota and what do they make of them and also does anyone have a cheaper alternative which is up to the rigors of contracting ( it may only be 1 day per month during the growing season and a few times a week at the start and end of the season when the ground may be too wet to use my larger mower on) I need to be able to collect the grass

We have 2 JD X540s which we've run for years and are good workhorses. The only downside is that they don't collect well in the wet because of the add-on collection unit. We did have an X135 for smaller jobs, but found it was too small to be worth bothering with and moved it on.
Big fan of Etesia Bahia or Hydros for small professional rideon ...
What sort of price would these machines be roughly?
We have an Etesia HVHPX (120cm) which we've been very dissapointed with. Cuts and collects beautifully- when it's working... Haven't tried the smaller ones.
