ABS warning light on in transit van

Hello all i have enjoyed reading what you all have posted for a while the abs light is permanately on in my transit i took it today to my mechanic who plugged it in to his diagnostic machine which said no codes found so he told me to take to fords as there computer goes into more detail so i went they want 85 quid the abs works fine need it sorting for mot was wondering if anyone else had encountered the same problem thanks Richard

  • Richard, lots of folk can remove the ABS light from the dash for much less than a Ford Dealer would want ''to look deeper at the issue''....kerching.

    At MOT the ABS would be checked, failure shown then. Light removed before MOT would be my route, on the basis all else is functioning correctly with the brakes (and under load too!).
