A for sale or swap page Phil ?

Phil, at this time of year lots of people are looking for new kit or looking to offload some surplus kit.

Is it / wold be possible or a good idea to have a "For Sale / Swap" page put up on the site for members to post their for sale / swap / wanted, kit.

Is it something us members would be interested in using as opposed to Gum Tree or Ebay, and with a small fee being paid to LJN on the sale ??.

I know sometimes members have posted kit for sale on the general forum but was just wondering if we would be better served with an actual page.

Thanks.

I thought that was what the For Sale, Barter or Hire page was for? If not, what is it for?

It is Darren, but having a designated page for it, I though would serve the members better and from what Phil has replied with, looks like its part of the evolution of the LJN web site. The trouble with posting on the general forum is that if its busy with new posts then the item for sale / wanted post soon gets shifted out of the front page and pushed down the list of posts.
