Guidance on buying a trailer

Hi I am looking to buy a trailer fairly soon. It must be caged 4 ft wide and between 6-8ft long. I have my trailer license, I shouldn't be towing more than a ton at a time. Does this trailer have to be braked? I've seen a few on eBay for around £900

Kombi extension shaft problems

I have 2 Combi extension shafts, and they both have problems.

One shaft has a broken plastic insert stuck inside the male end that is stopping the shaft from turning.. any suggestions on how to get it out?
