DAS should have some info on this from the IPPS - some one in there will know what will happen.
Good luck with it,
Cheers

All new leaf was on the old canes last year, I've had a quick look and cannot see any culms, however, it is a bit dense out there will have a closer inspection this evening. Thanks for the pointer.
Originally I was going to nuke the plants however, each years regrowth has been so prolific it really did look like the plants were reestablishing themselves, so I left them to see what would happen. I thought that once they had flowered the plants died off completely...obviously I was wrong.
Ive been looking though some old posts and found this one of your. If your still puzzled by your nigras contact Mike from jungle giants all he deals with is bamboo, if he doesnt know i dont know who will.

Thanks Mike
Richard's clue was unfortunately correct. I was surprised at the amount of new leaf, had never seen Bamboo flower before, until that point I just assumed it died off completely.
