The Malvern Spring Gardening Show 2012 – Show Gardens

The first national RHS flower show of the year, the Malvern Spring Gardening Show will be held from Thursday 10th May to Sunday 13th May.

We would be delighted to receive your application to stage a garden at the 2012 event. Your garden may be any size (minimum size 6x4m), shape or form, it can have a serious theme or built to entertain and please. The concept may be traditional, fairytale, contemporary or any theme you wish! Whatever its size, the space for your garden is provided free of charge, so all your investment is committed to the design, construction and promotion of your garden. The Shows team is on hand to work with you to help realise your ideas and showcase your garden to our passionate and dedicated visitor audience.

The Show is always of interest to national, regional and local media. Each garden will have a dedicated page in the Show Catalogue and our PR and Marketing team will be working closely with you to maximise promotional opportunities for your garden.

Free of charge promotional space(3m x 3m) is offered near to your garden, along with the opportunity to: gain potential customers, talk with the public to gain valuable feedback, launch new products and/or services, initiate/enhance awareness, interact with the press, conduct market research – the possibilities are endless!

The first ten show garden applications received and approved by the selection panel will be awarded a grant up to £5000 (subject to the garden being a minimum of 24sqm and being fully complete for the show). The amount of grant assigned will dependent on the size, complexity and ingenuity of your proposed garden.

"I've done 5ft Thorne troughs. Very easy to plant just got a mini digger dug the trench then drop them in couldn't be easier however £250 per m does seem expensive. "

"Agree with you Graham, we have a client with a long run of Laurel which we only cut once a year mid june and have done for over 20 years, the client is fussy with a capital F ! It's a superb evergreen hedge which is bomb proof.

"Disagree there!  I maintain a site with a couple of of large laurel hedges and one cut in July suffices and keeps it looking nice.  Agree.... looks nasty immediately after cutting but quickly perks up so you don't notice the cut leaves.  Pretty much…"
