4000 free samples !

Yes it is mad! Our dinning table is full of plastic crumbs... I should say recycled plastic crumbs.... the living room looks more or less like a factory..... Oh ... Actually in the middle now... I was cutting 2000 samples of the material that we made Lawn edging, root barriers and any shape raised beds. So 2000 more to cut as I need 4000 samples!

I was not just cutting samples of our plastic material ( with my father in law help) I was also cleaning bits from the saw and glowing the samples to our new leaflet (with double sided tape, if you wonder) so far nearly a week of work with some breaks.

It feels mad but I decided to add this samples to as inserts to the garden design journal.

But is it really worth the time?

Why am I doing it? Is that for the money only?

Well money is a very important thing and do drive me a bit especially after a week off with friends - and they all have big houses and we lost, actually everything when we moved to the uk 3.5 years ago. Our rented house as I said is an office, factory and the garden is in some area more like a warehouse and a garden centre - with a collection of exotic plants for sale. And for my 3 daughters I would give the moon if they just ask but... is not just for the money.

Look, we are all in this world in a stage that things are moving fast, no one give you quality control and tell you what is wrong and right. 2 years ago when I was lost with no hope, I decided that what I want to do is to start creating a change. I could see how so many people get ill and die and no ones know why or do a thing.

It is clear that recycling , reusing and reducing are the key So I decided to use my knowledge and promote products that are green. I saw how difficult it can be to try and promte new products, so once I learned few ways I thought that I should try with more products after all it can help everybody.

growing veg for example saves carbon footprint and also so healthy for soul and body and with our recycled plastic any shape enviro raised beds - it is so easy.

the lawn edging saves 65% on strimming and that is save for environment.

but why recycled? well I chose products that are made from 100% recycled plastic. At university we hat a visit to were all the rubish used to be kept - It looks like a huge mountain that is still as my daughter say not a problem it is a disaster. milions of tons of rubbish that can not be moved as it has gas inside, it leeks to the underground water, it smell- and you know what ? what else can you do with all the rubish that we consume.

So I choose green. green green. I want my daughters to enjoy a bit of clean air in 50 years lets say-
I actually hope that for any person that will live.

True, when I started I chose few products that were great and wanted to sell them, but more and more I was looking for reasons to do so and decided that what is important for me is to show that green solutions does not have to cost more.

In the last few month I got few emails from customers saying how good are the raised beds, one of them is here.

hi pat naylor here thanks for sorting our order out so promptly.they are my birthday present from my mum.I have put one of the beds together today, its holding our strawberry plants.looks boat shaped goes well the flooded part at the bottom of our garden!
It is great feeling so empowered to sort this out with so little exta help.thank you.pat and kathleen

here are few points for thought:

recycling one plastic bottle, saves enough energy to light a 60 watt bulb for 6 hours
Plastic garbage rate is 28% in volume and 11% weight
    • Average citizen generates each day in 1.8 kg of garbage
    • Recycling one ton of bottles of PET saves approximately 7 cubic meter volume of landfilling

Do not get me wrong I do not like to show this things and ccomplain but it is why I am really trying to create any change

    :

    It say

    Simply recycle

    collection: simply recycle

what can you do with our products

    ?

    DL-leaflet-print-2.pdf

If that is not enough I even added a beautiful collection of Zoe Corney

Zoe is a fabric designer that use recycled material to create real impressive products with top design look-usually a country style with warm look and home feel
