What type of pressure washer to buy?

If you are looking to set up a pressure washing business then you will see many options to you.
You will need a power/pressure washer with minimum of 3000psi - 200-300Bar

You will see a varying of price from £400 - £3000.

What i recommend is going somewhere in the middle. At proSift we use the Cobra Honda GX Petrol 250 Bar machine.
You can get this machine for around £1300+vat. As its made by Honda you can garantee an engine.....trust me, the Japanease know what they are talking about when it comes to engines.
What ever the weather, cold or hot, the Cobra starts 1st time every time.
I have spoken to people in the same industry as me and heard horror storys of machines breaking down during a job! How bad does that look!

Along with you Honda I recommend the Whirl-a-way. This will help cover the ground for the large jobs (please not though, the Whirl-a-way does not get up moss, weeds etc from the joints.

Back to the Honda. Cheap to run? If you have it running all day you will do nearly 2 tanks of petrol costing £15 a day roughly. Of course you just factor this into the price of the work you are doing.
keep an eye on the oil levels and I would suggest making an oil change after 20hrs of use. I know other who have not and it still works fine but best to in my opinion.

With the Honda, make sure you ge the Turbo wond and the 30m hose.
A great company to purchase this from would be Smart Seal. They are based in Essex and the guys know what they are talking about.
