Pellenc Dealerships Continue to Expand

Despite the slowdown in the economy, Etesia UK is bucking the trend and expanding its nationwide Pellenc dealer network. Since first launching the range of lithium-ion battery powered tools just one year ago, Etesia UK has established a path of continual growth with already thirty dealers signed-up.

Representing a complete departure from their recognised line-up of ride-on and pedestrian rotary mowers and brushcutters, the UK Company was chosen as exclusive distributors for the UK and Eire by French manufacturer Pellenc.

In strengthening their UK coverage of Pellenc products, the latest two appointments are Amenity Land Solutions (ALS) of Telford, covering two territories – Shropshire & parts of Wales and Chandlers (Farm Equipment) of Lincolnshire covering the Lincolnshire areas.

ALS was formed in January 1988 with an objective to create a specialist amenity horticulture supply company with high levels of professionalism and service for the sports turf and amenity planting & landscaping industries.

“I first saw the Pellenc range of products last autumn and was bowled over by their performance and green credentials”, said Managing Director, Dave Saltman.

“These state-of-the-art tools are lighter to handle and, of course, offer very low maintenance compared to the 2-stroke petrol alternatives. For commercial users, aside from the environmental benefits, the equipment can pay for itself in as little as 150 days against the cost of fuel. With continued rising fuel and oil costs and equipment that has virtually no carbon footprint, this is the equipment of tomorrow, available today.”

Etesia UK General Manager, Les Malin says, "The demand for Pellenc products is constantly increasing. As our business grows, maintaining a strong nationwide network of outlets is key to our success. Both Etesia & Pellenc dealers supply free demonstrations as well as full sales and service back-up.”

I was driving to Bergerac (France) a couple of weekends ago and I spotted four workers pruning the grape vines and all were using secateurs and wearing a battery pack on their backs - Pellenc.

"I've done 5ft Thorne troughs. Very easy to plant just got a mini digger dug the trench then drop them in couldn't be easier however £250 per m does seem expensive. "
