Landscaping Play and Edible Garden

Wavertree - Liverpool - Merseyside

What is an Edible Garden?

An edible garden is basically a garden that has edible produce in it such as lettuce, carrots, herbs etc. Colourful produce such as berries and strawberries look fantastic in an edible garden and take the average dull look of a vegetable garden away.

What is a Play Garden?

A play garden is where children with all abilities can play outdoors with independence and imagination. It allows children to of all abilities to communicate with each other and develop their skills while having fun. It re-connects children with nature through engagement with soil, water and sand etc.

Our Edible play garden

We are carrying out this landscaping project  in the Wavetree area of Liverpool Merseyside. Our landscape architect has designed this currently useless garden space into a usable play area for the kids with a Summer house and raised planters for an Edible Garden.

  • In the photo of the trampoline pit there is an extra hole at the bottom, is this for extra drainage?
  • very nice work

why such a good finish on the trampoline pit wall, is there a post trampoline plan for it, like a seating area or summit?

"I've done 5ft Thorne troughs. Very easy to plant just got a mini digger dug the trench then drop them in couldn't be easier however £250 per m does seem expensive. "
