Ground Control has been placed in the London Stock Exchange’s 1000 businesses to inspire Britain, a fantastic achievement for the industry having been labelled as one of 1000 firms fuelling “the long-term growth of the UK economy” in a list that was narrowed down from over 4.5 million companies.

The grounds maintenance company was selected on the basis of providing profitable growth in at least 3 of the last 4 years while also displaying increased rates of employment and contract wins.

The list was comprised of those organisations which are said to hold the best chances of economic growth following the current financial crisis, with Ground Control being billed as one of the “blue chips of tomorrow”. This is representative of a company which has continued to combine a trio of key ingredients including talent, innovation and technology.

Ground Control has joined an elite group of organisations included in the “vital six per cent” that are of “exceptional importance to UK economic growth and job creation.”

Ground Control was rubbing shoulders with well renowned organisations including Cath Kidston, Mulberry and Addison Lee. This is representative of the positive outlook the economy has with these organisations providing a strong platform for the next generation of workers, while also inspiring entrepreneurs to follow through with their dreams.

As the sole representative from the ground maintenance industry, this is a fantastic achievement for the Billericay based organisation as well as a boost for the industry as a whole.
