Landscape gardeners keen to find out the latest product and garden design trends will be inspired by the Chris Beardshaw Mentoring Scholarship (CBMS) ‘Atom’ themed show gardens at this year’s Malvern Spring Gardening Show (12th – 15th May).

Celebrating UNESCO’s International Year of Chemistry, the 11 show gardens, designed by the CBMS finalists, blend innovative planting schemes with cutting edge garden hard landscaping products from Aggregate Industries business Bradstone’s paving, decorative aggregates and walling range.

The featured products, which include Old Town Chelsea Cobble Paving, Cloisters and Panache paving, have been brought to life by the finalists who have demonstrated how hard landscaping products can complement and enhance even the most delicate of gardens.

Chris Beardshaw, who has won a host of RHS Gold medals and Best in Show awards, said: “The Chris Beardshaw Mentoring Scholarship came about as a result of my passion and commitment to raising the profile of the industry and the fantastic career opportunities available to talented landscape garden designers.

“The scheme provides the finalists with an excellent platform to showcase their work and gives landscaping professionals visiting the show inspiration and new ideas that they can apply to their own designs.”

Mike Leeming, Director of Sales for Bradstone, adds: “The CBMS enables us to see our products at their best, with the show gardens demonstrating fresh ideas and creativity in how they’re used.

“We hope that landscapers visiting the Malvern Show will see that our range of sustainable products provides something for everyone and can be used to transform any garden quickly and easily.”

Whilst at the show Bradstone will be promoting and recruiting members for Bradstone Assured, a new innovative installer scheme designed to reward loyalty, drive business leads, ensure full and timely payment and provide professional marketing support for landscaping professionals and contractors across the UK.

Cordless hedge cutter

Looking for cordless hedge cutter with the motor at the battery/handle end and telescopic . Find the ones with the motor at the blade end unbalanced, and before anyone says it - no the battery does not counter balance it well.  Not bothered on brand.
