We have had a busy month, the busiest so far, and have spent some time visiting small residential sites in Edinburgh, Grangemouth and Stirling to provide quotations for ground maintenance work. Many of these sites have had very basic care but moss on paths, overgrown shrubs, leaf drop and mossy lawns are getting to become a bit of an issue.
We hope to provide not only a competitive quote for such sites, but also raise the standard of work.
Poorly maintained lawns do bother me - it's personal! It is very satisfying to visit a lawn and within a few visits have it totally transformed. One scarify will see a massive amount of moss being lifted, often to the surprise of the client.
I notice lawns, whether in private gardens or communal areas. There is something very pleasing about driving past a green, healthy striped lawn.
Perhaps Christmas is not the best time to be thinking about this, but we operate and plan our work 12 months a year so we make the best possible use of our time when the growing starts again.
