I am a visual artist working in a variety of media with a particular fondness for wood and stone. I use wherever possible materials that are a byproduct of other processes, eg timber felled for safety or access reasons, in order to give it a new life and create an object of beauty rather than allowing it to be wasted. A fine art graduate, I have always been interested by the material as an object in its own right and working with it to create unique and beautiful pieces that enhance the places they inhabit as well as the experience of those in that space.
