Becky has been designing and making gardens for over 25 years, in London, the south-west of England and overseas. She works mostly with private clients on domestic gardens and, in this part of the world, that means anything from city courtyards to much larger rural gardens. She works very closely with her clients, taking them with her through the design process, to give them a garden which will be unique to them, their needs and budget as well as appropriate to the site. She is particularly interested in reflecting the history and local distinctiveness of each garden. She has written for The Garden Design Journal and now writes regularly on garden design in Good Homes magazine and in Grow It! She regularly lectures with authority and humour on a range of subjects to Horticultural Societies all over the region. She(voluntarily) acts as Regional Coordinating Officer for the Society of Garden Designers in the South West and, when she is not doing any of the above, tends three allotments where she keeps hens and is truly happy.
