Dorset-based Knoll Gardens is running its first event of the year on Saturday 14 March created especially to help gardeners prepare for spring.
As the UK’s leading ornamental grass specialist, Knoll is constantly being asked about caring for grasses in the garden and this mini-master class has been arranged to specifically answer its most frequently-asked question – to cut or not to cut?
Participants will learn how to distinguish between deciduous and evergreen grasses and look after them to ensure their own displays can be as stunning as those on show in Knoll’s acclaimed naturalistic garden.
2015 is a significant year for Knoll Gardens as its owner, Neil Lucas celebrates his 21st year at Knoll. A world authority on ornamental grasses, Neil will be leading this mini-masterclass, the first of a series of ‘Saturday Specials’ celebrating his 21st anniversary in the garden.
The next Saturday Special is a Plant Fair featuring the specialist nurseries of east Dorset on 25 April.
‘Preparing for Spring’ runs from 10.30am – 12 noon on Saturday 14 March and costs £10.00. Places are limited. To book or for more information, go to www.knollgardens.co.uk or call the nursery on 01202 873931.
