I have been to most places for the cheapest kiln sand, I thought value for money for good sand was Travis Perkins at £4,50 a bag. Very fine sand and does a great job.
Better than that though was Selco (you heard them on the radio...."its where the trade go, Selco"!!
The sand was darker in colour but was still very fine and done a good job and that worked out at just over £3.00 a bag.
