West Midlands Landscapes strives to make having a new driveway installed as an enjoyable experience as possible, for some the process of choosing a blockpaving contractor and having their driveway ripped up and relayed can be a daunting prospect to say the least!

How to choose a driveway contractor in the westmidlands?

If you are thinking of having a new driveway installed then you will know it is a considerable investment,so choosing the right installer is crucial.

A few things to consider when choosing your paving contractor are,do they have previous jobs you can go and take at? do they have a website you can browse through? are they a member of any professional body? do they guarantee their work?do they have references you can speak too? are the staff qualified? Here at West midlands landscapes we can offer all of the above when asked.

What next after choosing a few  block paving contractors to quote for your drive?
Once you have chosen 2 or 3 contractors to give you a quote MAKE SURE you know what you have been quoted for IE what type of block ,does it include edging kerbs?,what depth of stone do they intend putting down as a base, have they allowed for drainage run off in accordance to Suds laws? It never ceases to amaze me when i ask the client what they have been quoted for and usually the response is a shrug of the shoulders and ” the man said he would make it look nice!”

As a company  west midlands landscapes  prides itself in taking time with the clients to make sure they are happy with the blocks we are using and the fashion in which we lay them we treat each job the same whether its a 250m2 drive or a 20m2 , we still want the client to be totally confident and assured of a quality job from start to finish, we only use quality blocks from suppliers like Plaspave ,Marshalls and Formpave and we don’t ask for any money up font and only ask for payment when the client is totally satisfied with the job.

"I've done 5ft Thorne troughs. Very easy to plant just got a mini digger dug the trench then drop them in couldn't be easier however £250 per m does seem expensive. "
