The Stone Bake Oven Company Launch Commercial Gio Range

You ain't nobody if you haven't heard about the latest wood fired cooking trend that is sweeping both the culinary, garden and landscape world.

It has seen the U.K's top resturants rushing to invest in a wood burning pizza oven, and following closely behind are the british public, desperate to have a taste of the action with wood fired ovens for the home or garden.

Responding to the hype was the already established Stone Bake Oven Company, specialising in bringing wood fired cooking to the masses, Stone Bake designed a high quality, affordable wood fired oven for home application and have just recently began to stretch their legs, expanding into the commercial catering industry with the launch of the commercial Gio Oven Series.

The Gio Series comes in a range of sizes and is available in just wood, or gas-wood combinations. Suited as a sole or secondary means of cooking, the oven range can meet cafe's, bakeries and brasseries demands through to high capacity restaurants including Pizzeria's and more. With wood fired ovens boasting faster cooking times, very low running costs and most importantly exceptional flavourful food the wood fired oven revival is no suprise.

The benefits of wood fired ovens also include their indoor or outdoor installation, with many home owners and business owners limited on kitchen space, a wood fired oven can be built indoors, undercover outdoors, or just...well... outdoors. For this reason many gardeners and landscapers have started to incorporate wood fired ovens into their garden design in response to customer demand.

"Plus it doesn't matter if we all know plants are better value. I'd make the point of this to the customer but if they want trough grown at the extra cost that's their choice I'd just do it"

"I've done 5ft Thorne troughs. Very easy to plant just got a mini digger dug the trench then drop them in couldn't be easier however £250 per m does seem expensive. "

"Disagree there!  I maintain a site with a couple of of large laurel hedges and one cut in July suffices and keeps it looking nice.  Agree.... looks nasty immediately after cutting but quickly perks up so you don't notice the cut leaves.  Pretty much…"

"That's pretty much my thinking, but I am seeing them more and more. Mostly at expensive new builds. Mostly people with very limited gardening experience wanting an immediate finished product. "
