Many of us are walking around with camera phones in our pockets, but just what can you create with them?
Well photographer, Mark Hirsch, decided the take a photograph each day of a 'lonely bur oak tree'.
And he has brought the images together to produce a book and website, called That Tree, which takes you through a year in the life of the tree.
Mark Hirsch originally scoffed at the idea of producing anything worthwhile with his iPhone, but when challenged by a friend into seeing what he could do, it was the tree that came into focus.
His photographs show the tree in the wider landscape, but also the many changes the tree experienced through the year as leaves were nibbled by bugs, branches sprouted new leaves and acorns fell to the ground.
So next time you are out and about with your camera phone getting snapping and let others experience an insight into your world.
