Etesia UK has presented a Pro46 pedestrian mower complete with mulching kit to the winner of the prize draw competition winner which was run at IOG SALTEX 2010 and within the August-November issues of The Landscaper magazine.
Terry Bates of Bates Garden Maintenance, Surrey was presented with mower by Etesia’s new Southern Area Sales Manager, Phillip Gibson at the company’s UK head quarters in Oxfordshire earlier this month where he was also given a tour of the new facilities.
Designed to meet the rigors of a wide variety of commercial grass cutting applications, Etesia’s Pro 46 pedestrian rotaries are specified by contractors who want to profit from grass cutting. The special shape of the mowing deck produces a powerful suction and blowing effect to ensure a quality cut with 52 litre grass collection box. As an option, a PR46E mulching kit and PZ46M
mulching blade also converts the pro 46 mower into formidable mulcher. The Pro 46 rotaries are lightweight and compact, making them ideal for mobile grass cutting units.
Commenting on his win, Terry said: “It was such a surprise to win as you never think it will happen to you. I entered the competition last year and thought no more about it. Etesia has such a good reputation so I’m more than happy with winning the new mower which will be put straight to work”.
Bates Garden Maintenance celebrates its 10th year this year, with clients ranging from private customers, large estates and more recently Mary Quant, the British fashion designer who was instrumental in the mod fashion movement and one of the designers who took credit for inventing the miniskirt and hot pants.
