The government's Red Tape Challenge consultation process is now open for those working in agriculture, animal health and welfare, plant health and forestry.
The Red Tape Challenge is an attempt to collect advice and experience from those 'tied up' in paperwork and bureaucracy by allowing people to provide feedback through a dedicated website.
For those in the horticulture industry the current consultation is set to cover plant and tree health, honey bee health, plant varieties, seeds and other plant reproductive material (including forestry), tree felling and environmental impact assessment of forestry projects.
The period for providing feedback is open until 3 September 2013.
