Plant Heritage at Hampton Court

A chance conversation with Plant Heritage a few months ago has led to me designing and building their main display in the marquee at Hampton Court Flower Show.

It has been a really tough one this time with Mick and I solely building a huge display to show Five Continents. It has also been tough trying to find out the exact native plants for each Continent and displaying them aesthetically but also in a scientific way.

Two more days to go and we have suffered extreme heat and nearly melted to being blown away by strong winds.

Sourcing the plants has also been tricky and you soon realise that most of what is in Europe has originated in Asia.

I feel like I have been round the world in 80 plants!
