New Patio in Manchester using Golden sand multi Fairstone sawn paving a premium product supplied by Marshalls the leading paving suppliers in the UK and pointed using Marshall's Weatherpoint 365, the patio was completly pointed in less than 2 hours including the small cobbles around the perimeter which take a little longer to fill the joints due to being 50mm in depth

The Marshall's Weatherpoint 365 is an easy product to use and does exaclty what it says on the lid

1.. Wet the surface of the paving using a hose pipe

2.. Open the sealed weatherpoint365 plastic container and cut the sealed bag

3.. Empty the weatherpoint 365 onto the paving

4.. Brush the Weatherpoint 365 into the joints making sure you fill the full depth of the paving

5.. Strike the patio paving joints with a brick jointer

6.. Remove any surplus materials with a soft brush

Leave the Weatherpoint 365 12 -24 hours to harden but this will depend on the weather conditions and can take a little while longer if the temperature is cold or in damp conditions

Once the Weatherpoint 365 has set hard the patio is now ready to be used

It really is that easy to use and can be applied in wet conditions too without the worry of rain destroying conventional sand and cement pointing

If you have any remaining jointing compound left over simply place back into the plastic container and cover with water until you need it again so the is no waste what so ever

Marshalls very kindly send me a tub of weatherpoint 365 and I can't wait to open the tub!  Your blog is wonderful timing.

    Thank you Chris

yes I will certainly use the product again as its much faster than conventional sand and cement pointing, over the years I have used many other pointing methods too what are good but no where near as quick as the weatherpoint 365

the customer is very pleased indeed Chris and sent me a very nice email on Sunday morning when he returned from a business trip saying the patio stone is looking stunning this morning with it being wet from the rain - the different colours look fantastic.....

  • Looks frickin fantastic mick...well done
