Busy, busy, busy we are all very busy, but how can you get the best from the Landscape Juice Network?
Well get yourself an egg timer, or just check the clock on the wall, and spend 20 minutes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the network to help others, and ultimately yourself.
Here's what can you do in those 20 minutes:
- Read through the recent forum posts and if you can take part in at least three by passing on some advice, then others are sure to appreciate your answers
- Got a question of your own, then write a forum message and get some advice
- Whilst out working take your digital camera, or use your mobile phone, to take photos of your work and then upload them to the site. Don't forget to give them a descriptive title
- And you can feature these photographs in a short blog post passing on tips about the job you've worked on, or if you've discovered something interesting on the web write a few paragraphs and link to it
- Met someone this week who you think could benefit from the network? Then use the Invite a Friend tool
And if you are on Twitter or Facebook then make sure these 20 minutes are magnified by linking your accounts to your Landscape Juice Network page, you can do this under Connections via the Settings link in the right hand corner of the site.
Building up a presence online is something that takes time and requires you to 'keep turning up' but it need not take up your whole day.
