"Depends on circumstances. I wanted to put my rates up in 2020 but with covid it didn't seem right. Now the cost of living etc etc gone up its time to charge more. I booked in new regular work at my new rate testing to see if it's acceptable.
One…"

"5% inflation plus fuel costs and living wage increasing I think 10% is fair. Rounded to a full pound. I put up in April as I know I can readily replace any I lose and would welcome a Saturday off ! So overbooked and weather not holding me back yet. "

"I agree wearing masks outside now is unnecessary but I'm comparing to a year ago, I don't expect people to give 2 metres either but shoulder barging isn't ideal. I welcome 2019 again but the post is merely a comparison and missing the good points.…"

"We will almost certainly be applying a reasonable increase as a percentage across the board where contracts permit - some clients are tied in on three year fixed price but not many.  I think it is important to consider the value of the service…"

"Yes, some people are very rude and there’s no excuse for that. However, expecting anyone to wear a mask, outside in the fresh air, is quite frankly ridiculous.
If you are indeed vulnerable, then it’s up to you to take the precautions that you feel…"

There's so many self-righteous narsassits about these days.
I miss the lock down traffic so much."
