check your charger manual to make sure the green/red flashing does not indicate a bad cell - a good charger should point blank refuse to charge a battery with a bad cell.  Li-ion batteries can do very weird things when they have a bad cell. …"

"The existing membrane looks as if its breaking down , soiled ,and riddled with bindweed i am going to advise replacing it otherwise i feel it will be a bodged job .

"CT1 is a decent shout but the membrane itself will still move and shrink over time. would it not be better to cut the bit of membrane there build up with a proper subbase and bed and then put the membrane back around the correctly laid slate?"
