Andrew Betteridge replied to Rob's discussion Accurate costing for tree work
"If it took a day and a half, what did you do for the other half a day and did you earn another half a days money?
If you didn't earn another half a day's money, then it really took two days, didn't it?"

"I use E10 in the mower (Etesia) as well as for the 2 stroke mix, but i do buy a fully synthetic 2 stroke racing oil and have not had any issues. I don't bother to drain anything as i use a stabiliser additive in the winter which seems to do the job."

"I only use e5 in my regular machines, then aspinol in occasional use machines and for storage. The stihl green 2 stroke oil has stabilisers in it, also run cleaner than the red.
E10 is junk, I put it in my Mrs car once the performance was terrible. "

"I have noticed when you open your fuel can to refuel, (when the can's been in the back of a warm van) you don't now get so much of the inrush of pressure. I presume this means the new fuel isn't so volatile as the old, does this lead to performance…"

Leaving aside the obvious element of danger and personal risk, there's also a high cost involved…"
