A fifty pence coin minted in 2009 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Kew Gardens has soared to over £24.00 in value in just five years.
The Guardian reports that 250,000 coins were produced and are quite rare.
Coins are currently changing hands on ebay for £23.95.
